How to Duplicate Variables

Before turning the data into meaningful charts, you often need to do some data manipulation such as grouping and replacing the categories, changing variable type, hiding or excluding variable categories, etc. However, you may don't want to lose the original data due to data manipulation?  For this case, Chartrics enables you easily copy variables in the dataset file, manage them in the desired way and visualize on PowerPoint charts.

Method

1. In Chart Maker, right-click on the desired variable in the Data pane
2. Click Duplicate
