How to Apply a Global Filter Across Your PowerPoint Report?

Let’s say you've built a report showing data for an entire region, and now your client needs a version for each individual city. Instead of duplicating and re-filtering each slide manually, you can apply a Global Filter based on the “City” variable – and Chartrics will instantly update the selected slides with city-specific data.

*Note: The Global Filter applies only to charts that are built from the same dataset.

• Go to the Chartrics tab
• Click the Global Actions drop-down 
• Select Global Filter

• Click Add Filter
• Select the Dataset, then choose the Filter Variable
• Pick the Categories you want to filter by (e.g., specific cities)
• Select the Slides you want to apply the filter to
• Click Apply – all selected slides will instantly update with the filtered data
